Norwex EnviroCloth Review

I got my consultants kit which came with some pretty awesome things! I decided I would use the products before trying to promote & sell them to other people. I don't want to buy products that don't work, so why would anyone else?!? So here is my review of Norwex's EnviroCloth.

EnviroCloth claims: use wet or dry, clean everything with outstanding results. Cleans without chemicals!

Now I used one for the kitchen & my husband actually used the other for when he works out (Norwex does have a sports towel too!) so the kitchen review is my take & he gave his input on using it for wiping down sweat.

Kitchen: I have used this to dry dishes, & counters. It drys flawlessly. I even spilled apple juice on the counter & lightly set the EnviroCloth on top, POOF! Gone. I didn't even press down on the cloth, move it, wipe , nothing. I also use it to remove grease from a pan. And it came off with little to no effort, I however did use it wet, so I can't say how it would work dry on grease. I have not washed the cloth yet as it's not really dirty. I wills post washing instructions as well as my experience on washing once I do. Overall, I give this product a 5/5!

Use as sports towel: The towel is super absorbent, soaks up the sweat fairly quickly with little to no effort. It doesn't get soaked the way a normal towel. After letting it dry, there was no smell. It was used 3 more times before today & still no smell. This would defiantly be something I'd use if I never got the sports towel.

What made you choose Norwex?

To be quite honest joining Norwex was all about up-front costs for me. I have worked with direct sales/direct marketing before. I've googled all the ins & outs, I have pages worth of tips. But it all came down to the fact that I have no money to put up front. After gathering a list of no-cost companies, the products were my next choice. I needed a product that not only could I use & stand by (can't sell something you don't like)  but something that people could justify spending money on & selling to other people. Cleaning products are a must! And most cleaning products on the self are filled with harmful chemicals. I know cleaning for me turns into a coughing fit & that makes cleaning even more unenjoyable.

Norwex has developed a unique technology that combines an antibacterial silver-based agent with our microfiber. The antibacterial agent is actually embedded inside the tiny microfiber. The agent is solely designed to inhibit bacterial odor, mold, and/or mildew growth within the cloth. Which is pretty awesome if you ask me! They still need to be washed, but it's cheaper than sponges & cleaner too!

Everyone one of Norwex's products are chemical free! I don't have kids (do fur babies count?) yet, but that makes me feel better knowing that I will have cleaning products with no chemicals. I have been trying to go green, eat healthy & organic, & be more aware of what is put in & around my body as well as my husbands.

Norwex also has personal care products (lotion, toothbrushes, deodorant, face creams, etc) that are all Ecocert-Certified. All Ecocert-Certified products are free from: GMO, Parabens, Phenoxyethanol, Nanoparticles, Silicon, PEG, Synthetic perfumes and dyes, Animal-derived ingredients. For a product to be Ecocert-certified, a minimum of 95% of all plant-based ingredients in the formula and a minimum of 10% of all ingredients by weight must come from organic farming. Even the packaging must be biodegradable or recyclable.

Overall, Norwex had exactly what I was looking for, & I'm hoping you'll join me in bettering your home, yourself, & the earth. If you or someone you know would like more information about Norwex or becoming a Norwex Consultant please feel free to contact me! It's FREE to start your own Norwex business (with qualifying sales).

Becoming a consultant

How often do you find yourself selling a company's product to a friend, family member, or co-worker? Whether it be the shirt you're wearing, the food you are eating, or where you got your haircut. Today companies strive on word of mouth, if you like it you can convince your peers to at least try it! So why not make money while doing so?

There is no initial startup fee (other than the shipping for your starter pack). You get a starter pack that you can see here: http://www.norwex.biz/pws/heatherbeyer/tabs/how-to-get-started.aspx

Your goal is to then sell $2000 in the first 90 days. If you do not hit that goal, then you will pay $200 for all the stuff in the starter kit.

** Your personal website costs $9.99/month to maintain. You can opt out if you would like but it makes getting orders much easier. They give you the first two months free. **

Consultants earn 35% commission on all sales as well as other product incentives.  There are different levels of being a consultant. you have to have $250 in sales (either from customers or your own purchases at your discount - meaning that if you purchased $250 in retail products at your discount which would be $162.50, it would count as $250) within a rolling 6 month period (the current month plus the previous 5) to not go dormant. If you go dormant, you have to pay $19.99 to get out of that. (After a year of no sales you are not a consultant any more). If you have at least $250 in a rolling 3 months (that month and the previous two) you are considered active, and if you have $250 in a month, you are considered engaged. Each of those levels can affect earning various incentives but does not affect your commission.

Mrs. Meyers Clean Day Review.

I decided to do a review of the current household cleaning products I'm using now. I've been using Mrs. Meyers Clean Day products. The products have extremely cute & vintage like labels. And wonderful aromatic smells, while there are a few scents I'm not too fond of, they are better than most other cleaning products I've used. And I got them off of this awesome app called Boxed Wholesale, check them out  they have an awesome selection of bulk products for great prices. And who doesn't love saving a trip to the store?! Use code OAJU2 for a free $10, enter it at check out! (Boxed.com)

Mrs. Meyers Geranium Scent Dish Soap: I'm not entirely sure if it's the soap itself or the scent that is the culprit of this product but it seems like no matter how much I rinse dishes or how little soap I use the dishes come out with the taste of soap/Geranium. It's not pleasant. I wasn't fond of the smell to begin with but it's grown on me. But the fact that I can't seem to get the soap residue or smell off the dishes is concerning. I have noticed if I wash, rinse then soak in hot water and rinse again the smell & soap are very sparse.

Mrs. Meyers Basil Scent All-Purpose Cleaner: I LOVE THIS SCENT! I really do. It's a very clean smell. I use this for everything, washing floors, shoes, wiping tables, bathroom cleaning, etc. There aren't too many places I haven't cleaned with this. I haven't found the residue issue with this product. It doesn't make the floors sticky like most floor cleaner. It also cuts through the grease that can be left on the stove after dinner.

Mrs. Meyers Lavender Scent Landry Soap: Anyone who knows me knows I love Lavender. I will clean my whole house with it if I can find cleaners in the scent. Lol. But this laundry soap is wonderful & you honestly only need a small amount. I believe the bottle states you get 64 loads out of a bottle, that's incorrect. If you use it how their directions say, yes you will probably only get 64 loads. But then you'd be using way too much soap. How to tell? Wash your clothes with the recommended amount. Then wash again without soap. If the water has suds you're using too much soap! I only use a quarter of a cap, maybe less depending on what I'm washing. Bonus: The lavender scent is not over powering either!!

Mrs. Meyers Honeysuckle Scent Countertop Spray: I have a love hate relationship with this product. I love the scent - in small doses. I love how clean it gets my counters & stove. I even use this on my cupboards & drawers. What I hate? It's extremely soapy if you don't water it down. I used most of this product without watering down & while it cleaned my counters it also left a soapy sticky feeling (until half the bottle was gone and I thought to add water). Once water was added it didn't leave as much of a sticky feeling & was a lot less soapy. I recommend using paper towel with this product though.

Mrs. Meyer Bluebell Scent Hand Soap: I'm not sure how I feel about this scent. It's not a bad scent, just, not what I was expecting. The soap itself doesn't leave my hands dry like most hand soap. The scent isn't overpowering but it also isn't so light that you can't smell it after you have washed and dried your hands.

Overall, I would recommend Mrs. Meyers brand products, you'll have to try the scents for yourself as everyone is different. I will be snagging some new scents of this in a couple of months. I'll do a review of the new scents then.

Happy Cleaning. :)

New to Norwex.

Just ordered my starter kit today at no upfront costs. The catch? $2000 in sales within 90 days. So that's my goal! I will be working my butt off to make this money. I, of course, need to wait until the starter kit comes in & then I will really be getting started on here. I won't be able to buy products until after the first of the month. Maybe sooner depending on finances. I am hoping this works out the way it needs to.

Happy Days Everyone. :)
